Our Story
Universal Palm Tree Women is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organization dedicated to women and the family. Universal Palm Tree Women, founded on excellence, support and innovation in favor of women’s rights, is the symbol of the oil palm tree and its values. It is the fruit of an ecological, environmental and agricultural vision shared by Elie TIABAKUENO SANGU, a doctor and imaging expert, who since 2015 has focused on local women, considered the metronome of the balance of our planet
It works in the various fields presented in its vision, mission detailed in its objectives.
- Vision : Social, cultural and development issues.
- Mission : To identify and give orientation.
- Objectives : To restore the world heritage and the lost image of women.
Why do we compare women to the oil palm tree and not to any other tree?
Women, with all their potential, are compared to the oil palm value chain. This tree has left its mark on human history for centuries in terms of traditional, cultural and sustainable development of nations, but it seems to be neglected, even fought against from all sides, although it is an unprecedented force for development. This tree suffers the same fate as women and the family, which are today attacked and despised, and which are the foundations of a society for peace. For this reason, women have decided to make this tree a reference and an agricultural tool for development. The organization contributes to the global climate system with very high temperatures and creates financial and economic independence through the synergy of the intercontinental network of women, with love and determination to achieve these two great goals.
We actually have over 5 300 members identified worldwide, 9 branches in : DR Congo, USA, Canada, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Australia, Angola and Senegal …, We actually count 6 partners in DR Congo and 100 suppliers of organic agricultural products.
