Who We Are
Universal Palm Tree Women is a global initiative dedicated to empowering women to overcome obstacles, embrace their strengths, and stand resilient—just like the palm tree, which thrives in even the harshest conditions. We are a non-governmental, non-political organisation dedicated to the defence of women’s rights. We support rural women and campaign for their rights. We believe that it is thanks to them that our planet is preserved, especially through their reforestation activities. Like the oil palm, they are invaluable in the fight against climate change. We actually have over 5 300 members identified worldwide, 9 branches in : DR Congo, USA, Canada, South Africa, Zambia, Botswana, Australia, Angola and Sengal…, We actually count 6 partners in DR Congo and 100 suppliers of organic agricultural products.

Signing of the Memorandum between FOFAT and UPTW
Saturday 28/12/2024 The signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Foundation and UPTW took place at 10:00 a.m. at limete 2e Rue residentiellle. 20 members of UPTW and senior staff of the Felix Tshisekedi Foundation were invited. These two organizations are keen to support the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, His Excellency Felix Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, on the social front to create jobs for young people, given that they share the same social, cultural and development values.
Exhibition of organic products by Universal Palm Tree Women Katanga
Thursday, December 26, 2024, Exhibition of organic products by the women of Universal Palm Tree in the provincial governorate of Haut-Katanga. The event was attended by the Provincial Minister in charge of the Economy, Tourism and Foreign Trade. She was accompanied by the head of the provincial department of foreign trade and his two advisors.

The preparatory meeting of the Agricultural Fair and Conference in Washington DC and Virginia State USA on the oil palm chain with Her Excellency Madam Bestinne Kazadi Minister Delegate in charge of International Cooperation and Francophonie on 19/12/2025 in her office in Kinshasa Gombe with the team of universal palm tree women of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Prepatory Meeting Between UTPW Staff Member And The Cabinet of Minister of Foreign Trade
The preparatory meeting of the agricultural fair and conference in Washington DC and Virginia State USA on the oil palm chain with the coordinator in charge of fairs and exhibition to the cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Trade on 17/12/2025 in his office in Kinshasa Lingwala with the team of universal palm tree women of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
